Developer PlayPark is launching an Alpha test for MeloJam, its next mobile music game, before its official release. The game is about to launch in the South East Asia region, so far at least. It’s set to debut in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. There’s no word on the official date of release just yet.
The basic idea? Groove to more than 100 songs in a variety of genres by selecting your preferred virtual instrument. Maybe passionate ballads, optimistic pop choruses, or perhaps even some head-banging rock?
You get to play the final song list for the initial release, even though it’s an Alpha build. I think you should begin planning which songs you’ll play at your ideal jam session. You can also view a selection of instruments and even alter your avatar’s appearance. You get a bunch of character customization options and outfits. Go ahead and develop a stage character that rocks just as hard as you do!
If you want to take part in the MeloJam Alpha test, you can sign up via the official site. Places are limited though, so don’t expect a guaranteed spot! The test will run from June 14 to June 16, 2024. If you get in and become an Alpha tester, you get in-game benefits or rewards when the game officially releases.
It’s not all just fun and games, though. You have a few reponsbilities. After the MeloJam Alpha test, you have to provide the developers with your feedback on the game, overall performance, and also details of lags, glitches, wrong lyrics, or optimization issues.
