In retro news, I'm celebrating the 22nd birthday of Knockout Kings 2002, the penultimate entry in a series that would morph into the Fight Night franchise. Featuring Ali, Frazier, Duran, Leonard, De La Hoya, Vargas, Lewis, and Hopkins, this was the first entry to include a stick-based evasion system and the use of said real boxers in the career mode. Man, I miss purebred boxing games. Bring back the biff, EA.
