Honkai: Star Rail Leak Hints at New Simulated Universe Boss
A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is teasing the next boss coming to the Simulated Universe in Version 2.3, adding playable character Aventurine as a new challenge. Debuting with the game's launch, the Simulated Universe has become one of the most popular permanent game modes for the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG. The Simulated Universe features multiple unique worlds for players to challenge for rewards like Stellar Jades and Planar Ornaments, as well as alternate challenges like «Swarm Disaster» and «Gold and Gears.» Now, a familiar face is set to be the game mode's next boss.
Honkai: Star Rail has often featured members of its wide cast of playable characters as in-game bosses, making use of their unique abilities. Characters like Kafka, Yanqing, and Gepard have all been featured as bosses within the Simulated Universe, often featuring special mechanics for their fights. Other in-game bosses like Sam have been teased for future playability within Honkai: Star Rail, giving a taste of what's to come from the game's upcoming roster members. Now, Aventurine's boss variant will be the next to join the permanent game mode.
A new leak shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat is teasing the boss variant of Aventurine's addition to the Simulated Universe. According to the leak, Simulated Universe Aventurine will feature three phases, combined with a unique gambling mechanic revolving around dice. In the final phase of the boss fight, Aventurine's dice rolls will be purposely rigged to give him higher results, with gambling and attacking dice affecting a character's HP. Winning Aventurine's gambling challenges will reward characters with higher damage, based on the HP lost during the gambling session.
