After over a year of work, the Dark Souls Re-Remastered visual overhaul mod version 1.0 has been released online, introducing a variety of visual improvements.
The mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, completely removed almost all backed lighting, introducing dynamic shadows to the whole game. The mod also improves lighting, water reflections, distant geometry, ambient occlusion on the player lantern, upscales textures and more.
