The Echo of Duriel is an Uber Boss in introduced along with season two, Season of Blood, but players in Loot Reborn can still farm this Boss for Unique and Legendary loot. Duriel is near the top of the Uber Boss ladder, so finding the ingredients to summon him can be tricky. Half the battle is already won by knowing what to gather and where to go.
Like other bosses from season two, Season of Blood, players need to gather several necessary components to summon Duriel. Often, these reagents are found off of lesser bosses and require you to climb the Uber Boss ladder until you finally reach the Echo of Duriel. Given that this boss’s loot is extremely valuable, this difficult trek is worth it.
In Diablo 4 Loot Reborn, Masterworking is yet another way to improve your gear. To boost your affixes and items, you first need to find Ingolith.
To summon the Echo of Duriel in, players need to find two Shards of Agony and two Mucus-Slicked Eggs. Shards of Agony require players first to find Living Steel, gathered by participating and opening chests in Helltide events. You can find Living Steel primarily in chests marked as Torture Chests of Living Steel, but also off of enemies and mini-bosses. After gathering five pieces of Living Steel, you can summon and slay the Uber Boss Grigoire to claim your Shards of Agony.
You must complete several Tree of Whispers objectives to gather Mucus-Slicked Eggs. You can pick up Gurgling Heads, Trembling Hands, Malignant Hearts, and Blackened Femurs by completing these optional quests.
With these four items in the tote, you can summon and slay an Echo of Varshan to acquire Mucus-Slick Eggs. The Tree of Whispers is found in the swampy areas of Hawezar. If you have already beaten the main story, you have likely unlocked the area’s Waypoint. Now, with both necessary components in your inventory, you can finally travel to find and fight the Echo of Duriel.
