Reverse: 1999 fans in California have a chance to celebrate the six-month birthday of the gacha game in person, with a collab event planned at Sora Gumi.
The festivities with Reverse: 1999 kick off on June 1st at the Sora Gumi store. For those who don’t know- Sora Gumi is a store famous for choosing items related to Asian culture.
Here, you get to meet your favorite cosplayers, rock out to live music, and mingle with fellow fans. But that’s not all – both Sora Gumi stores in LA and OC will be brimming with surprises throughout June.
This collaboration marks the half-anniversary of Reverse: 1999 and the one-year anniversary of Sora Gumi. It is basically a double party, so you can expect giveaways. You can put your knowledge of Reverse: 1999 to the test with a special in-store trivia challenge. Answer a question on their Discord server and score some cool stickers.
Additionally, share your photos on Reverse: 1999’s official social media channels, and you can win limited-edition postcards. You can also share your wishes for Reverse: 1999 on a “Wall of Wishes” set up at the stores. If your message is chosen, you might walk away with a themed poster to decorate your room.
Also, if you’re looking for a specific character’s standee or that elusive CG album, this event might be your chance to fill those gaps in your collection. Plus, you might even score a half-anniversary bag as well.
On June 2nd only, visit the stores and snag any piece of Reverse: 1999 merch to be entered into a raffle for some mysterious goodies. Sora Gumi’s stores are conveniently located in LA’s Weller Court Little Tokyo #200, CA 90012, and Buena Park, CA 90621.
