Xbox Game Pass has confirmed that NBA 2K24 is coming to the subscription service on March 11. Most of the time, Xbox Game Pass reveals games coming to the lineup in batches, which makes this reveal of a single new game addition all the more surprising.
The Xbox Game Pass March 2024 Wave 1 announcement took place earlier this week, with Xbox using the opportunity to highlight 7 games that are coming to the service in March 2024. The highlighted games included Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun and PAW Patrol World, both of which are available now, March 12's SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom — Rehydrated, March 13's Control: Ultimate Edition, and March 14's No More Heroes 3. Lightyear Frontier and MLB The Show 24 were also part of the announcement, with both of those games coming to Game Pass on March 19.
The Xbox Game Pass March 2024 lineup was already stacked, but now subscribers have yet another game to add to the list. In a surprise announcement seemingly out of nowhere, the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account announced that NBA 2K24 is coming to the service on March 11. Platform specifics weren't mentioned in the announcement post, but fans can expect the game to be playable on Xbox consoles at the very least, with a high probability that the PC release will be playable as well.
