It’s the 25th of December, and for many people that means coming together with family and friends, opening presents, and hopefully a visit from a jolly, rotund character in a red suit. 2023 has been a challenging year for many people, and we want to take this time to also remember those who are experiencing hardship, hunger and war. With ongoing conflicts including those in Ukraine, Myanmar, Israel, Gaza and Africa, we hope for peace and resolution, and an ending to the bloodshed.
These hopes might be in vein, but if you have spare money please consider giving it to support civilians caught up in these conflicts. War Child is a charity that specifically focuses on the impact that war has on children.
