A video has circulated around social media, namely Twitter, of a video depicting a God of War Ragnarok screen. This video claims that there will be a trailer for the game on Friday, May 27 at a State of Play event. The general style of the video makes it seem like someone is recording something they are not supposed to be, and that has led to a lot of shares. Namely, this “leak” has received 509 retweets and over 136 Quote Tweets as of this writing.
Many of the Quote Tweets call this leak out as a fake, but there are also plenty who are incredibly excited about this. A God of War Ragnarok State of Play event has been rumored time and again, and as spring marches forward, it makes sense that one would happen soon. Even if God of War Ragnarok is a holiday 2022 game, a few holiday games have already put their names out there—or at least when fans will learn more about them. Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield, and of course, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are some games fans currently expect for late/holiday 2022.
