The new Thor: Love and Thunder trailer secretly hints at Thor's tragic death. Following the hotly anticipated release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel Studios is returning to the big screen with the Taika Waititi-directed film Thor: Love and Thunder, continuing the Asgardian's story after the events of Avengers: Endgame. If the second trailer for Thor 4 is any indication, however, it seems like this will also be the final outing for the God of Thunder.
While the film's initial teaser trailer mainly focused on Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) personal arc post-Infinity Saga, the full-length official trailer lays out the movie's overall story with a clear look at Thor's reunion with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) as Mighty Thor. The Marvel Studios marketing footage also finally debuts Christian Bale's villain, Gorr the God Butcher. Amid all of this, however, the latest Thor: Love and Thunder clip may have secretly teased the death of the Avenger.

The Thor: Love and Thunder trailer opens with Korg (Taika Waititi) telling the story of Thor, particularly focusing on the Asgardian's mission on Earth and weight-loss journey after his Fat Thor stint in Avengers: Endgame. Noticeably, however, the Kronan talks about the God of Thunder in the past tense, hinting that by the time he recalls Thor's adventures, he is no longer around. Without any context given to Korg's storytelling, it's difficult to say when exactly this scene takes place in the movie.
