A new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder shows Chris Hemsworth's titular hero assembling a team of heroes to battle Gorr the God Butcher. After making his MCU debut in 2011, Thor has since become a fan-favorite character, appearing in three solo movies as well as a number of Avengers team-ups. After the success of 2017's Thor: Ragnarok, the hero is set to return once more with Taiki Waititi again in the director's chair.
Initial trailers for Thor: Love and Thunder tease a brand new villain in the form of Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale. The villain seeks to destroy all gods with Thor seemingly on the list of those to be destroyed. In addition to introducing Gorr into the MCU, Thor: Love and Thunder is also bringing back a number of familiar faces, including the core members of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, who was introduced in Thor: Ragnarok. Notably, trailers for the film have also teased the return of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who now wields Mjölnir and carries the title of Mighty Thor.

In a new trailer from Marvel, Thor is shown gathering a team in order to face off against Gorr. The team includes the likes of Guardians of the Galaxy, Valkyrie, Foster, and even Waititi's Korg, with the trailer teasing a big showdown to come. Check out the new trailer below:
