Thor and Star-Lord's relationship is heading in a new direction in Thor: Love and Thunder, teases Chris Pratt. The next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will kick off with Chris Hemsworth's titular hero journeying through space with the Guardians of the Galaxy after taking off with them in Avengers: Endgame. After initially choosing to leave the group to find inner peace, Thor is pulled back to the fold when Gorr the God Butcher sets out on his murderous quest to kill all gods in the universe.
Alongside Pratt and Hemsworth, the cast for Thor: Love and Thunder will feature the MCU returns of Taika Waititi, who is also back at the helm with a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast. The film will also mark the MCU debuts of Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, who is being hailed by many cast members as the one of the best MCU villains to date, and Russell Crowe as Zeus. Thor: Love and Thunder is gearing up to hit theaters next week and those behind the film are offering new details of what's to come from the film.

While speaking with Marvel at the world premiere for the upcoming film, Chris Pratt opened up about what to expect from Thor: Love and Thunder. The actor teased a new dynamic between Star-Lord and Thor in the film, noting the differences between how Taika Waititi and Avengers: Endgame duo the Russo brothers approached the relationship.
