What Did Jane Whisper to Thor In Love & Thunder? Natalie Portman Responds

Actress Natalie Portman addresses what Jane Foster whispers to Thor Odinson toward the end of Thor: Love and Thunder. The fourth solo film in the series, Thor: Love and Thunder once again stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, with Natalie Portman returning as Jane Foster/The Mighty Thor and Tessa Thompson returning as King Valkyrie. Director Taika Waititi is at the helm, as well as playing the lovable Korg, with Christian Bale playing the lead villain, Gorr The God Butcher, Russell Crowe playing Zeus, and a guest appearance from the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Throughout the film, Thor struggles with both his love for Jane Foster and his jealousy over her brandishing his former magical hammer, Mjolnir. Foster, in turn, is battling terminal cancer, while also struggling with her love for Thor and assuming the role of a superhero, particularly figuring out a good catchphrase. After sacrificing her life to help save Thor at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder, Foster whispers what she believes to be her perfect catchphrase to him, which the audience never hears.

In an interview with Cinema Blend, Portman addresses the whisper and whether or not there was a specific line she spoke to The God of Thunder after her sacrificial battle with Gorr, which drained the last of her powers. Portman says there was a specific line and that the scene was fun to shoot, but remains coy about what the line was, saying she doesn't intend to reveal the line anytime soon. «Yeah, that scene was really, really fun to shoot, and yes, there is a specific line, but I will never reveal it.»
