When Waititi watched the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer on the social platform, he noticed that the captions on the video were off and even incorrect in several scenes. He then took it upon himself to take a screenshot of the worst automated captions generated by the platform and posted it on his Twitter account, all while poking fun at artificial intelligence.

It all began when Waititi first noticed that Gorr the God Butcher's ominous threat about how “all gods will die” was turned into “oh gosh, well die” by Twitter's auto-captioning in the latest Thor: Love and Thunder trailer. He took a screenshot of the scene and shared it, along with the caption, “Lol if the robots are planning to take over the world they're going to need to learn different accents. Nice one, @twitter technology!” Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end, and there were several other comical captions that showed up in the rest of the trailer.
