Christian Bale's powerful new MCU villain went toe-to-toe with Chris Hemsworth's Thor in the first Thor: Love and Thunder trailer to feature Gorr, and the movie's marketing has already teased one casualty that may happen along the way.

Footage shows glimpses of an epic battle between Valkyrie and Gorr, and Valkyrie's weapon of choice is particularly interesting. She's wielding a lightning bolt that comes from Russell Crowe's Zeus. This detail indicates that the powerful Greek god is nearby and involved with Valkyrie and Gorr's fight. With the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer secretly revealing that Zeus is in close proximity to Gorr–or perhaps has already been a target of the God Butcher–Russell Crowe's character's death
