Blumhouse Productions is a multimedia company responsible for some of the biggest horror movies of the last two decades, including M3gan, Get Out, Paranormal Activity, Sinister, Insidious and The Purge. It was announced today that the company would establish a new gaming division called Blumhouse Games.
Blumhouse Games will partner with independent game developers to produce and publish smaller titles in the style of its successful film model, creating «original, horror-themed games for console, PC and mobile audiences» with a budget of $10 million or less.
Newly-minted Blumhouse Games president Zach Wood has a background in games, serving as a producer on such titles as PREY: Mooncrash and The Unfinished Swan. Hopefully, we will see some high-quality releases from smaller creators in the years to come.

Well, this has my FULL attention.
All for a steady supply of horror games and giving smaller developers a platform. Might see some really interesting things come out of this. The movie record is spotty but they do have a couple of gems.
Today was already going pretty well. But this news just made it better. Really interested to see what comes out of there.
Great the worst horror movie producer is now making games this'll be great
