The first teasers for Chapter 5, Season 2 of Fortnite have been revealed and they seemingly confirm that we're going to be getting a season based on Greek mythology.
Back when Fortnite's fifth chapter kicked off a few months ago and introduced tons of fan-requested characters like Peter Griffin as well as popular new modes like Fortnite Festival and Lego Fortnite, it seemed like the game had never been more popular. As always, though, things have died down a bit as the season dragged on, leaving everyone to speculate about what's coming in Chapter 5, Season 2.
For some time now, the prevailing theory has been that Chapter 5, Season 2 of Fortnite is going to be centred around Greek mythology. The main bits of evidence suggesting this were skins teased in surveys that were clearly based on Greek characters and gods, as well as statues and architecture that can still be found around The Island that are also clearly supposed to be Greek.
Then there were subtler bits of evidence, like a boss found in the files who uses a lightning summon, which many took to mean Zeus, and the fact that the season is codenamed Aiga (which means Goat in Greek). All of that evidence has made it pretty clear what Fortnite's next Season is going to be based on, but Epic has now basically confirmed it for us all in the latest update to the game.
As showcased by reliable Fortnite insider Hypex, a teaser for the Season was found that shows the head of one of the characters that were first shown in the skin survey, but etched onto a wall. That tease is already pretty obvious, but the reveal of one of the Seasons's Battle Pass skins, named Odyssey, makes it incredibly clear that we've got a Greek mythology theme coming.
