One of the biggest mods for Fallout 4, Fallout: London, is near completion with the team behind the mod confirming that this add on will be available 23rd April 2024. As you can guess by the name, the Fallout: London mod is set in the English capital, moving the franchise away from the USA. There are no vaults as Vault Tec did not exist in the UK. Instead, there are Pindar stations where people could take shelter.
Fallout: London features 15 boroughs of the city including Bromley, Camden, City of London, Croydon, Eastminster, Greenwich, Hackney, Islington, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, and Westminster. There are iconic places like the Houses of Parliament, and the Underground.
The Attaboy replaces the Pipboy in Fallout: London, with Vault Boy being replaced by the Protect and Survive Family that feature instead as animations. There are three new radio stations added to the game, and more tracks added to the soundtrack too. The gameplay has seen overhauls too. The crafting system has been upgraded for things like ammo, there are perk checks throughout the dialogue, fast travel options include trains, taxis, and boats, playable instruments, dynamic weather, animations for ladder climbing, and swimming.
Quests are a huge part of the Fallout: London mod, with 53 main quests and 35 side quests in total that can be experienced. Just like in Fallout 4, some of these quests are self contained side quests while others will feed into overall story that shapes the future of London and the rest of the nation. On top of these quests, there are various factions that add an additional 25 quests. There are also 64 smaller miscellaneous quests too. Gangs roam the streets of London, and here too are quests.
