With Season 2 of Diablo 4 soon coming to a close, what can we expect with Season 3, and when is the release date?

If you have these pressing questions, we can answer them below. We don’t know a lot just yet about what Season 3 has to offer, but there are a few key details we do know about it.

Since Diablo 4 Season 2 is expected to end on January 23, we can assume that Season 3 will begin on January 23. This is because Season 2 started right when Season 1 ended, so expect Season 3 of Diablo 4 to release on January 23, 2024.

Basing this off of the past Seasons, you can also expect Season 3 to go live at 10am EST / 1pm EST, all depending on your US time zone. But if you remember back in Season 2, it had some issues with its launch and was delayed by a few hours for its launch. If everything goes smoothly for Season 3, you should be able to create your Seasonal Realm at the Season reset time.

Although we’re pretty confident about the release date for Diablo 4 Season 3, what can we expect from it? The release is just three weeks away, and so far we’ve yet to see any Season trailer. Blizzard themed Season 1 around Malignant Hearts, while Season 2 was all about Vampiric Powers. So what could happen with Season 3?

For now, we have no clues on what the themes or storyline for Season 3 will revolve around. But since the release date is creeping up, we can expect a reveal trailer anytime soon. With each season typically comes new abilities, items, Helltide events, and Uber bosses, so look forward to those.
