A new Diablo IV patch is now live on PC and consoles, introducing a variety of improvements, tweaks, and fixes for an improved experience.
Patch 1.0.4 doesn't bring any significant balance changes, but it still comes packed with fixes and improvements for general gameplay, quests and dungeons, UI, and more. The official patch notes also confirm that the update brings further stability, performance and visual improvements, as well as changes for Helltide chests, which can now drop unique items, reduced health pools, and damage output for the Vhenard, Brol, and Cyrach bosses, and increased cap for crafting material to 99999 over the previous 9999.
The new Diablo IV patch hasn't brought any major tweaks to the experience, but the action role-playing game developed by Blizzard is set to receive new content later this month with the Season of the Malignant. New quests will be made available as part of the game's first season, as well as new gameplay mechanics, such as those that allow players to slot a Malignant Heart into gear to allow for new crazy builds, six new unique items, and seven new Legendary aspects.
Diablo IV is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide. Learn more about the latest entry in the series by checking out Alessio's review.
