Our Demonology Warlock guide writer, Not, offers an early review of the Diablolist Warlock Hero Talents that riffs on Doom, a spell that has proc'd larger demons in the past. Despite Diabolist taking that concept to the next level, it struggles to amplify the gameplay of Demonology.
Hero Talents are an extension of the Talent system designed to explore class fantasy with a third talent tree, separate from your class and specialization. Blizzard has revealed an early preview of Hero Talents coming in the next expansion, The War Within.

The Demise and Rebirth of Doom
Warlocks who have been around for some time may recognize a similarity, but not a direct rip of an old version of Doom where you summoned a Doomguard if your Doom landed the killing blow combined with the Dragonflight Season 3 tier bonus where after Doombrand expires you summon a Doomfiend. This version of Diabolist plays off of those ideas of old while (hopefully) removing Doom entirely from the Demonology toolkit and therefore its final removal from all Warlocks.
