In an interesting crossover between games and professional wrestling, Ring of Honor star Athena made a special entrance dressed in the colors of Karlach from the award-winning RPG Baldur's Gate 3. The ROH Women's World Champion paid tribute to the Baldur's Gate 3 character at the Supercard of Honor pay-per-view event.
Being an Origin character, Karlach is an integral part of Baldur's Gate 3 and, hence, is popular among the fans. On April 5, ROH Women's World Champion Athena paid homage to Baldur's Gate 3 character Karlach at the Supercard of Honor PPV. During her entrance, she came out in a ring attire inspired by Karlach, complete with the character's horns and her signature axe. The veteran wrestler, who is also known as Ember Moon from her time in WWE, successfully defended her title against Hikaru Shida in a grueling singles match.
Moreover, Athena later went on Twitter to thank Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios and Dungeons and Dragons for letting her portray her favorite character. In the post, she also described herself as a "DND nerd," sparking excitement among her fans.

In the past, many top names in wrestling, such as Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega, have worn ring attires that give a nod to a game franchise.
