Mid-March, Blizzard revealed 12 new Hero Talent Trees in a sneak peek at the new system coming with the The War Within expansion.
Our Havoc Demon Hunter guide writer, Shadarek, offers an early review of the Aldrachi Reaver Demon Hunter Hero Talents that add potential high damage windows but also add high complexity and a rigid rotation.
Aldrachi Reaver Demon Hunter is the first tree revealed of the two that Havoc and Vengeance will share access to. At its core, Aldrachi Reaver is built around, using Soul Fragments as a resource to generate uses of as a damage window cooldown. Much of the tree beyond the addition of is generic and makes little change to Havoc Demon Hunter's current playstyle. That is, except for adding another damage amp cooldown window which will have to be managed and overlapped with the currently crowded windows involving Inertia, Initiative, Eye Beam, and Essence Break. Continuing to line these up in a cycle may prove to be difficult and frustrating with an RNG cooldown due to how Havoc generates souls.
