Today, a new blog post on the official Cyberpunk 2077 website offered a new post covering car chases and combat.
With the big 2.0 update coming, several revamps and updates are coming to the game. This should make the gameplay experience feel fresh and even more immersive. Today, a new blog post offered insight into car combat and chases. For instance, there are now chases that will take place more naturally. So, if you find yourself getting on the NCPD’s bad side, they might venture out in their vehicles and hunt you down in the mean streets of Night City. That means gunning it out of the area and staying out of sight long enough to give the police something else to go after. Of course, we already know the more you’re wanted, the more backup they’ll take with them to deal with you.
Of course, with this update, you’re not entirely helpless in your vehicle. Instead of using the vehicle to gun it out of the area or ram enemies down, you can now use weapons. There are a few options detailed for car combat within the blog post. For instance, you can now shoot SMGs or pistols from the back of your motorcycle, through the car windshield, or through the side of your window. If you’re dealing with CrystalDome tech, you can shoot out from your sliding door.
