Baldur’s Gate 3 patch notes are here at last for the mammoth Baldur’s Gate 3 patch 3, after the update was pushed back a day by developer Larian Studios to ensure full testing. The massive update includes the previously announced Magic Mirror, which will allow you to change the appearance of your characters, as well as Mac support, improved dyes, and improved performance in the game’s third act.
This latest Baldur’s Gate 3 patch changes a huge number of things, including a large number of bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and other nice additions to the beloved RPG game from the team at Larian Studios. We’ve listed all the major changes in BG3 patch 3 down below, but let’s go over some of the biggest additions.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 Magic Mirror is where you’ll be able to change your character’s appearance in BG3. You’ll be able to adjust your pronouns and your voice, too, although Origin characters can’t be customized. Meanwhile, Mac support opens up one of the year’s most popular games to an even greater audience.
Among the changes I’m most excited about are improvements to dyes, making many of the colors more visible on certain armors. While the dyes can make some gorgeous outfits, a lot of them didn’t show up very noticeably on many armor sets. As someone playing a four-player co-op game, I’m also thankful for the option to automatically watch dialog scenes when your party members start them, so I don’t miss anything important.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 patch 3 notes can be read below – note, of course, that many of them mention specific characters, items, and locations, so be wary of potential spoilers.
