Blue Archive’s Cherry Blossom Festival Kicks Off with Hyakkaryouran Chapter 1!
It’s springtime, and everyone (and every title) is gearing up to celebrate the season. And that includes tactical RPG Blue Archive as well. The game has launched Main Story Vol.5 Hyakkaryouran Episode Chapter 1, ‘Like the Flower That Wishes to Bloom.’ Technically, it’s Blue Archive’s own Cherry Blossom Festival.
The latest instalment is set to take you to the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy during its Cherry Blossom Festival, featuring summer fireworks and relaxing hot springs. The story follows the Hyakkaryouran Resolution Council, a group on the brink of dissolution. During the festival, you’ll see them handling disputes and working to revive their club’s legacy.
Blue Archive’s Cherry Blossom Festival (Vol.5 Hyakkaryouran) continues the saga of Sensei and his students, introducing new allies. You’ll meet new characters joining the fight against ongoing threats in the academy city of Kivotos.
Speaking of newbies, Yukari is one of them. She’s a sniper-rifle-wielding Sonic-type Striker from the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy. She comes with a Basic Skill that boosts her damage for 30 seconds and an EX Skill named Blooming Resolution, which deals powerful area damage and critical hits based on her Invocations.

Alongside the main storyline, Blue Archive’s Cherry Blossom Festival is introducing a narrative featuring the Yin-Yang Club, the academy’s unofficial student council. Starting May 21st, you can recruit the dynamic duos of Saori and Hiyori from Arius Squad, and the rifle-toting sisters Shun and Kokona from Plum Blossom Garden.
In celebration of Blue Archive’s 2.5th Year Anniversary, Nexon is hosting a special web view event from May 18th to May 19th. This festival will reveal daily episodes about the event’s preparations, and if you log in during this period, you’ll receive 200 Pyroxenes each day.
