In a major change coming in Patch 10.1, Embers of Neltharion, the requirement to complete the BFA Pathfinder achievement (Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part Two) for flying in Kul Tiras and Zandalar will be removed. This means that any character with the appropriate riding skill can now soar through the skies of these Battle for Azeroth zones without the need for weeks of reputation farming and exploration.
Complete the Kul Tiras and Zandalar achievements listed below. Reward changed: Reward: Kul Tiras and Zandalar Flying and Wonderwing 2.0Reward: Wonderwing 2.0Currently, unlocking flying in Kul Tiras and Zandalar requires players to undergo a time-consuming process of reputation farming and exploration. However, with this latest patch, players will no longer need to go through the rigorous process of completing the BFA Pathfinder achievement to gain access to flight in these zones. Completing the Pathfinder achievement will still reward you with the Wonderwing 2.0 mechanical parrot mount. Pathfinder achievement requirements for flying were first introduced with Warlords of Draenor. However, both Warlords and Legion had their Pathfinder requirements removed in previous patches. Battle for Azeroth was the final expansion to have this requirement, and thanks to Patch 10.1, players will no longer need to complete the BFA Pathfinder achievement to enjoy the full benefits of flight in Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
