A patch for sci-fi action RPG The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition has been released, which purports to fix many of the performance issues players have reported in recent days.
The Spacer's Choice PS5 upgrade was released in such a poor state that it had some players immediately calling for refunds, complaining of abysmal performance and numerous bugs. Private Division, the title's embattled publisher, has promised to address players' issues in this and in future patches, despite recent layoffs.
We haven't had a chance to try it out for ourselves, but reactions as to whether or not the game runs any better are mixed. Some players are reporting improvements, while others swear it's exactly the same.
