Twitch Streamer Esfand inadvertently did a solid for a thief while leaving a shopping mall. The incident occurred during a recent IRL stream, and while the One True King co-founder doesn't seem to be in trouble, it's certainly an unexpected occurrence to capture live on camera.
Esfand started his career on YouTube in 2016 and began streaming on Twitch the following year. Initially known as a World of Warcraft streamer, he also earned a name for himself as a prominent PUBG streamer alongside the popular streamer Asmongold. He's also branched out to streaming other game content and real-life activities like cooking, boxing, and weightlifting. Esfand went on to found the gaming organization One True King, or OTK, with Mizkif, Asmongold, Tips Out, and Rich Campbell in October 2020.

Esfand spent over six hours yesterday live streaming from San Francisco, the location of the 2023 Game Developers Conference. During the latter part of the stream, he spent a great deal of time walking around the Westfield San Francisco Center, a large mall only a few blocks from the Convention Center where GDC 2023 is taking place. He makes his way to the exit a little after the six-hour 20-minute mark, holding the door open for the man behind him, who appears to be carrying a bag and an iPad. A pair of security guards in yellow and black jackets followed a few seconds later, shouting and pointing at the suspect.
«Oh frick,» the streamer said after the security guards ran outside to confront the suspect, «did I just pull an Uncle Ben by holding a door open for a thief?» His comment presumably refers to the scene from Sam Raimi's 2002 Spider-Man movie, where Peter Parker inadvertently gets his
