New PvP Optional Reagent Slot for Crafted Gear in Patch 10.1 PTR
There has been a new type of Optional Reagent slot added in Patch 10.1 that grants the ability to turn any Epic Quality piece of gear into a PvP item. These Optional Reagents can be purchased with Honor or Conquest and will increase the item's item level during Arenas and Battlegrounds.
New PvP Optional ReagentsAll pieces of crafted gear, Pre-Embellished and Unembellished, have the ability to add a new Trophy of Conquest or Crest of Honor as an Optional Reagent. These items grant the effect: Increases item level to __ in Arenas and Battlegrounds. Trophies of Conquest can be purchased from Calderax within the Gladiator's Refuge for 525, 700, and 875 Conquest. These trophies all grant the effect: Increases item level to 450 in Arenas and Battlegrounds. The different trophy levels affect which armor slot the item can be used for. Crests of Honor can be purchased from Seltherex within the Gladiator's Refuge for 525, 700, and 875 Honor. Similar to the Trophies, all Crests grant the effect: Increases item level to 437 in Arenas and Battlegrounds. The different crest levels also affect which armor slot the item can be used for.
