Final Fantasy 16 has revealed a two minute trailer showcasing the gamer's setting of Valisthea. The video gives us a detailed look at various locations and biomes we'll be able to visit, and frankly, they look stunning. Fans have been looking forward to this one, as Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki Yoshida will be the producer of the latest installment. He has already revealed key details about the game, which have got long-time fans excited.
The trailer starts with Clive and Torgal looking upon a massive waterfall, along with Jill. We then see the three making their way alongside the basin on Chocobo mounts. We follow Clive, as he walks through various locations, including the outskirts of a small town, what appears to be a settled caravan, a marketplace in the city, and a lush forest. The trailer then cuts to various locations and vistas from across Valisthea.

The trailer was initially shown off at PAX East, and was posted to Twitter earlier today. The comments were full of praise and anticipation for the game, which will be launching on June 22 as a PS5 exclusive. "Freaking incredible from every point of view," Tweeted Alex Moukala, who is known for performing funky riffs of video game music – Final Fantasy included.
There was a lot of praise, not only for the visuals, but the music as well. "The music is gorgeous! Like something from a Nier game," said SweetPeachGames. "I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a very, very long time exploring in this game".
