In a strange series of events, every player in an Overwatch 2 match agreed to a “redo” after a Doomfist player unintentionally jumped off the map. While Overwatch 2 matches sometimes have problems with toxic players ruining the gameplay experience for others, this recent highlight shows that wholesome interactions can also be found in the game.
Overwatch 2 has 36 heroes, each with unique moves to learn. While many of these characters have high skill ceilings for players willing to put in the time to master them, some are harder to get acclimated with than others. One of these more challenging heroes in Overwatch 2 is Doomfist. While the tank has a number of satisfying moves, they can be hard to pull off in the middle of battle, as one player recently found out.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Hoenirson shared a highlight from a recent match in which everyone decided to give a Doomsift player a “redo” after the hero committed suicide. The clip began on the Garden section of Lijiang Tower, a map in Overwatch 2. Hoenirson used the replay viewer to view the embarrassing play of Doomfist. From high above the map, the camera watched the tank leap toward the objective, covering an impressive amount of ground. However, things did not go as planned for Doomfist as he miscalculated the jump, sending him plummeting into the abyss.
Following this embarrassing series of events, the other players on the eliminated Doomfist’s team decided to walk off the edge of the map.
