It's a pretty well-known fact at this point that you can sneak some poison into the kegs at the goblin camp in Baldur's Gate 3 to get some easy kills without aggroing everyone from the Sword Coast to Waterdeep, but what you might not have known is that you can use that same trick on the duergar in the Underdark.
Ward Magmar is found at the Grymforge, holding a big tankard they're more than happy to chug from. He's always hanging with Ward Pistle, bullying Skickpit by the lift. As pointed out by bmrtt on the game's subreddit, "You can actually interact with the keg (be careful not to get spotted by the executioner nearby), add some poison to it, wait for Skickpit to come for a refill, and they both drop dead as soon as they drink it."
Funnily, in Dungeons & Dragons , duergar have advantage on saving throws against poison, but you don't even need to use lethal poison in the keg to kill Magmar and Pistle.
Not only did Larian Studios add a way to do this just in case some of the more conniving players tried, but Skickpit will encourage you, laying out a scheme that they had put together before you even arrived. As highlighted by HiccupTheBrave, he "Has a vial of poison he was planning to use on them that he'll give you". So, you don't even need to bring your own poison to pull off the assassination.
Evidently, this was news to a lot of people, as the post has over 4,700 upvotes at the time of writing. "That's amazing. Having poisoned the goblin camp countless times, I'm embarrassed to not have thought of doing it for Skickpit," SorlocksApprentice commented, garnering another 2,000 upvotes.
"Just did Grymforge last night, saw those guys, and thought, 'Huh, I wonder if I can spike their drinks like [in] the goblin camp? Nah, probably not, I better just get to Nere.'" Kame_D_kinoko added. " Now I'm tempted to reload a save just for that."
Once you poison the barrel and talk to them, you can attack the girl and the guy will just stand there [because] he is technically dead.
