A new Baldur's Gate 3 patch will be going live later this week to fix various issues, including a critical one introduced by the previous patch.
Earlier today, Larian Studios confirmed Patch 5 would fix the eternally active acts of theft and violence that are causing massive slowdowns, rendering the game almost unplayable in certain instances. The patch will also address another issue with Astarion and much more.

For a role-playing game of its size, Baldur's Gate 3 didn't suffer from any major bugs, although the game did leave something to be desired in regards to the user interface. Still, whatever small issue the game may have is overshadowed by its stellar quality, as I highlighted in my review.
With its engaging story, charming characters, extremely dynamic world that constantly reacts and adapts to the player's actions and choice and a solid tactical combat system, Baldur's Gate 3 is among the best cRPGs ever released. A wonky interface, the lack of some quality-of-life features and Larian Studios' trademark save scumming design impact the experience, but they're only minor issues that don't take away too much from the whole experience. After years in development, the game definitely exceeded all expectations, and in the best possible way.
Baldur's Gate 3 is now available on PC and PlayStation 5 worldwide. The game will launch on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S before the year's end.
