Epic Games has revealed the full launch lineup for Fortnite Festival and it includes songs from artists like Fall Out Boy, Kendrick Lamar, and, strangely, LMFAO. Quite the spread.
Thanks to the reveal of three new game modes, the launch of Chapter 5, and the debut of the Big Bang event, last week was undeniably one of the busiest weeks in Fortnite history. This week is no slouch either, though, as each of the three game modes showcased at the Big Bang event are set to release over the next few days, starting with Lego Fortnite tomorrow and ending with Fortnite Festival on Friday.
We've already seen and heard a lot about Lego Fortnite and Rocket Racing, but Fortnite Festival is arguably the most mysterious of the three new modes. Up until now, we really only knew that it was a Rock Band-esque game mode that featured The Weeknd in some capacity, but we now know all of the songs that are coming to the mode when it launches on Friday.
In fact, the biggest thing we knew about Fortnite Festival until now is that it won't feature sex, as Epic Games had to clarify that the mention of nookie in the age rating was a reference to it being mentioned in song lyrics.
Over on the official Fortnite Festival Twitter account (yes, these new game modes are big enough to be getting their own social media accounts separate from the main one), a full set list for Festival's launch was revealed. We already know that The Weeknd is going to play a big part in the mode, but we now know that his featured songs include Blinding Lights, The Hills, Save Your Tears, and Take My Breath.
