@BearsEatBeets @LN78 Have no idea, as I've not seen the film in god know how long and don't remember that scene.
I actually watched more films in 2023 than I realised.
Here are my top 10. What did everyone else think of 2023's output?

5. Shin Kamen Rider
6. Spider-man: Across the spider-verse
7. American Symphony
8.The Creator
9.Puss in Boots: The last Wish
10.TMNT: Mutant Mayhem
Still plenty to watch that isn't released in the UK yet. I'm Looking forward to The Iron Claw & Poor Things in particular.
My Top 5 for 2023 -
1) Oppenheimer.
2) Killers of the Flower Moon.
3) The Fabelmans.
4) Cobweb.
5) Spider-Man: Acoss the Spider-Verse.
Obviously I'd have liked to include the masterpiece in progress «Rebel Moon» but I don't think it's fair to judge the movie until it's completed by «Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire — The Director's Cut» or «Rebel Moon Part 2: Scargiver» or perhaps «Rebel Moon Part 2: Scargiver — The Director's Cut».

Just finished «RoboDoc» which is an exhaustive (4 hour!) documentary about the making of one of the greatest movies of all time, «RoboCop». Absolutely fantastic — Paul Verhoeven is still mental, Nancy Allen is still gorgeous and Peter Weller (at age 75!) is still just an incredible bloke. Recommended.

Just finished watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie. I absolutely loved it! It's quite possibly the best movie adaptation of a video game franchise ever. So many great moments and so many Nintendo characters. Not to mention the music! As a person who grew up with Nintendo, this movie just hit all the right notes for me.
