CD Projekt Red has provided a quick update on the commercial success of Phantom Liberty — the big Cyberpunk 2077 expansion that released back in September of last year. The DLC launched alongside the game's 2.0 Update, which once again propelled the open world RPG back into the spotlight.
Anyway, Phantom Liberty managed to sell over 5 million copies in 2023 — which is really good going for an expansion. Last we heard, Cyberpunk 2077 itself had sold more than 25 million copies.

Well deserved. It took them 3 years, and I feel bad for those who got suckered in at launch, but it ended up brilliant. One of my favourite games of 2023.

That seems like a high number for DLC. Nicely done.
Is that a high number for this type of dlc based on the 25 million who had the base game as of Oct? I mean they had sold 18 million 4 months in to the fraud they pulled initially. I guess for dlc it's probably a good figure though.
Its a delight, im nearing the end of it now and cant recommend it enough. This game is really refined and well worth
