Redditor Ainell shared images from the Baldur’s Gate 3 mod, which they confirmed was Appearance Edit Enhanced. While the mod doesn’t specifically turn the main characters of Baldur’s Gate 3into gnomes, it gives players the tools to edit them in any way they please. Ainell has decided to do a full gnome playthrough, giving favorites such as Astarion, Shadowheart, and Lae’zel a considerably shorter appearance. In the context of the game, it doesn’t actually mean much, but it’s certainly an interesting way to freshen up a repeat playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3.
Although Baldur’s Gate 3 already has plenty of races to choose from, it’s interesting how the game’s modding community has engaged with this particular element of the game.
