An Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon co-op mod was released online, allowing players to team up and tackle the game's main campaign together.
The mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, introduces world synchronization between clients built from the ground up, allowing not only up to five players co-op but also PvP against rogue AC controlled by other players. While the mod has been released in an early alpha state, it seems to work great already, although one mission has been disabled due to issues, as the developer introduced some balance changes, such as increased enemy health and armor, to prevent missions from becoming walks in the park with multiple players.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is the latest entry in the series and the first to be released after FromSoftware became one of the most loved development studios of all time with the Souls series. While retaining some features from the franchise that made the studio so popular, the sixth entry in the series has its own identity that makes it a game worth experiencing.
