Pokemon GO has pulled the curtain back on its «Rediscover» campaign, which aims to bring lapsed players back to the augmented reality mobile game by tempting them with major updates. Pokemon GO has been one of the world's most popular mobile games since it was first released in the summer of 2016. A huge part of this success is thanks to Niantic regularly releasing new updates to keep fans engaged.
Recently, Niantic released a Pokemon GO teaser trailer that pointed to big updates coming to the game, though it stopped short of providing details. It confirms some of the upgrades Pokemon GO will be treated to in the near future, and gives fans an idea of when they can expect said upgrades to go live in the game.

Rediscover Your World will likely feature the backgrounds, map, and encounter screen improvements, while Rediscover Kanto suggests that players can expect an increase in Kanto region Pokemon spawning, calling back to Pokemon GO's glory days. And finally, the Rediscover Your Reality update is coming on May 7, though fans will have to stay tuned to find out what exactly that will entail.
