An Apex Legends leak seems to hint that Ash might be getting her heirloom weapon next. Heirlooms are mythic-tier cosmetic items in the game that change the appearance of Legends' melee weapons. The last Apex Legends character to get an heirloom was Seer, who now wields a pair of curved sickles called Showstoppers.

Ever since Apex Legends launched in 2019, it has released one heirloom per season, with Wraith being the very first in Season 1. According to former Apex Legends game director Chad Grenier during a 2021 Reddit AMA, the schedule of heirloom releases were «largely based on what the team is fired up to make next.» There are a total of 15 heirlooms so far, and with Apex Legends recently entering Season 16, players might just see the next one soon.

However, there's no information yet on what kind of melee weapon Ash will receive and when it will come out.

Many Ash mains seem to be excited about the heirloom, with some joking that it will be a rat melee. Some are wondering what it would look like, especially since Ash already has a Ronin blade in her arsenal.
