Multiplayer co-op action game Wayfinder will get an exclusive beta on PS5 and PC next week. Wayfinder was featured in the February 2023 PlayStation State of Play alongside other upcoming titles like Street Fighter 6, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and a handful of new titles for PS VR2.
Wayfinder was announced at The Game Awards 2022 and is being developed by the studio Airship Syndicate. This studio was founded in 2014 by Joe Madureira and Ryan Stefanelli who had previously worked on the Darksiders series while at Vigil Games. Since then, the studio has made a number of turn-based RPGs like Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and even contributed to the Darksiders series again by developing the spin-off title Darksiders Genesis. Wayfinder will be the studio's first foray into the MMO genre and will be published by Digital Extremes, best known for developing Warframe.

Gamers got another trailer for Wayfinder in today's PlayStation State of Play as well as the news that players can sign up for a closed beta that will launch for PS5 and PC on February 28. The trailer gave a new look at the game's setting of Evenor and the titular Wayfinder characters that will be available at launch which include the melee-focused Sanja or the gunslinger Silo. Players also got a look at the game's Lost Zone dungeons that hold bosses, unique quests, and loot. Lost Zones can also be modified by players who are looking for an extra challenge.
The Wayfinder website states that while next week's beta will not be open to the public, players can gain access to the game's Early Access launch in May by purchasing a Founders Pack. Although the pricing for these packs has yet to be
