Genshin Impact Leak Shows Appearance of New Fontaine Character

A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed the appearance of a new character that will arrive in the next major region which is expected to be Fontaine. HoYoverse keeps expanding the game's pool of playable characters, and it seems like every new update includes new five-star and four-star characters.

The ongoing Genshin Impact update 3.4 has added two Dendro characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyao, both of whom were featured on the first banner cycle of the update. The recently hosted Special Program event for version 3.5 also confirmed that the next update will finally introduce the five-star Pyro character Dehya and the four-star Cryo polearm user Mika.

A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed the updated appearance of a new character who goes by the name Captain R in the community. The design of this character was also hinted at a couple of weeks ago when a huge leak revealed 10 new Genshin Impact characters that will appear in Fontaine. According to the new post, Captain R has gone through some design changes and many fans claim that this could be the final version that will arrive to the game. Many comments have stated that Captain R's new look indicates that she will probably be an Electro character as her design is very similar to other playable units that use the same element.

When it comes to the character's exact release date, there are still no reliable leaks, but players can expect her to join the roster once the new Fontaine region arrives. Previous rumors have been hinting that Fontaine will be very different from any other region in the game. Its main city will apparently be attached to a vertical platform, and it will be surrounded
