A Genshin Impact fan has created an interesting chart that ranks the game's playable five-star characters by the number of updates they have not been featured on a Limited Character Banner. Every update in the game has two banner cycles, each of which features one or two five-star and three four-star units.
Developer HoYoverse already confirmed that the upcoming Genshin Impact version 3.5 will introduce the Pyro claymore user Dehya on the first banner cycle. She will be joined by the Electro polearm user Cyno who will receive his first re-run after being released in 3.1. The Special Program event also confirmed that the second part of the update will feature two Cryo characters, Kamisato Ayaka and Shenhe.

Reddit user RapidFresh has created an interesting chart that shows which five-star characters have missed the highest number of consecutive banners. At the top of the list with 11 skipped updates is the Cryo claymore character Eula whose last banner appearance was back in version 2.3 which arrived in November 2021. Despite being a very popular character in the community, HoYoverse keeps delaying Eula's re-run. Some characters like Arataki Itto, who was released in the second part of 2.3, already had two re-runs in updates 2.7 and 3.2 while Eula is waiting for her first appearance since 2021.
Eula is one of the strongest DPS characters in Genshin Impact and she still holds the record for the highest damage number ever recorded. Unlike most DPS units, Eula's kit revolves around dealing Physical damage which makes her a very flexible character that can fit many team compositions. The second character on the list with 6 missed updates is the Pyro catalyst user
