John Wick: Chapter 4 opened on March 24 to strong reviews and an opening week haul of $146 million. And though the fourth entry was possibly going to be the last in the series, these strong financial numbers might bring star Keanu Reeves back for another bloodbath.
In a recent Hollywood Reporter interview, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Joe Drake said that a hypothetical John Wick 5 is very much on the (high) table. However, he also stated that there's no guarantee that it will happen.

Director Chad Stahelski and Reeves have previously indicated that Chapter 4 will be the last in the series, at least for a while, after briefly considering shooting the fourth and fifth entries back-to-back. However, as THR points out, John Wick 4 is now Reeves' second-best domestic opening of his live-action career, behind only The Matrix Reloaded. Regardless of the franchise's ultimate fate, Reeves plans to reprise the role, as he will appear as John Wick in Ballerina, a spin-off starring Ana de Armas as a fellow assassin.
