Gloria Victis has a new dev update video, “Season of the Wolves”. This is the first devlog video since launch and goes over all of the important recent changes and new features in the works.
When it comes to Gloria Victis , you’re going to benefit from having strong siege options, and a new one has just been introduced with today’s update: throwing stones. This is the first of multiple planned uses of their work on carrying objects. To take advantage this time, each fort will now have a new Materials Warehouse. These will be loaded up with stones that you can pick up and carry to throw them off the building by the enemies. Your building generates stones for use, but is attackable.
Some of the other improvements have been graphical and technical,including work on improved synchronization to make everything look smoother, especially combat. Today’s update also brings another batch of visually reworked trees, which marks the end of tree overhauls. The team will next move to smaller plant life, like bushes and grass, before improving things like dust particles and other environmental polish.
The recent addition of The Werewolf boss is also a notable one in the weeks since launch. That fight also gets a few tweaks this week, including to the way the boss switches aggro and a nerf to its health regen. The new Werewolf Slayer memorials have also been added.
As for what they are working on next, the first major work is on an improved PvE experience. Gloria Victis knows PvP combat, factions, and sieges, but the PvE side will get some love.
