AMD has showcased the performance of its Radeon RX 7000 "RDNA 3" GPUs in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, delivering over 100 FPS with FSR 3.
AMD and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have had sort of an "exclusive" relationship with each other, as Team Red had previously partnered up with Ubisoft to design "limited edition" GPUs, revolving around the game's overall theme. Moreover, the title has been one of the first to receive support for AMD's cutting-edge FSR 3 upscaling technology which also offers frame generation, so the RDNA platform became the best candidate for gamers to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Based on early impressions of the game from various outlets, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is touted as one of the most beautiful games of 2023 with lush jungles & impressive visual fidelity which makes it a graphics spectacle. To make such a graphics-intensive game work, you need powerful hardware and AMD has unveiled that with FSR 3 and its latest RDNA 3 GPUs in the Radeon RX 7000 family, you can get great performance across all resolutions.
AMD in a blog post has officially released benchmarks for the game, which has shown what the RDNA 3 lineup is capable of when it comes to delivering performance through the aid of technologies like FSR 3 coupled with Frame Gen.
In the testing done by Team Red, all Radeon RX 7000 series SKUs, starting from the Radeon RX 7600 to the Radeon RX 7900 XTX show optimal performance with 100+ FPS at their targeted resolutions. The Radeon RX 7600 being the entry-level 1080P solution can offer up to 109 FPS in the game with Ray Tracing and Ultra settings while the flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX can deliver up to 148 FPS at 4K. You can find additional testing from Computerbase and PCGameshardware
