Alan Wake 2’s New Game Plus Update is Out Now
It was announced last week that Alan Wake 2 would be adding its promised New Game Plus mode soon, and the mode is now available. Remedy Entertainment has released a new update that now lets you take a finished save of the game and begin another playthrough where you will retain all of your previously unlocked videos, Charms, and upgrades.
In addition, New Game Plus also includes a new canonical ending, extra narrative tidbits in new manuscript pages and video content, and a new Nightmare difficulty option for those who want a more grueling level of challenge.
The update adding New Game Plus has also brought with it several performance improvements, bug fixes, platform-specific issues, and more. You can check out the full update notes and a release trailer for the New Game Plus mode below.

New Game Plus mode
NOTE: To access the New Game Plus mode, a completed playthrough of Alan Wake 2 is required. In New Game Plus, you will find the unlocked weapons in the first available shoebox for the character.
