Aether Gazer Drops ‘Echoes on the Way Back’ with Chapter 19 Part II
droidgamers.comAether Gazer just dropped a major update, ‘Echoes on the Way Back.’ It brings Chapter 19 Part II in the main story with the new S-Grade Modifier and the Modifier Outfits. The events in the update run until January 6th.
Chapter 19 Part II is paired with a side story called The Ibis and the Moon – Moonwatcher. It’s subtitled ‘New words on a new page. The gears of destiny begin to turn fitfully.’
The Modifier Verthandi has hit the scene. An S-Grade Modifier, Dimglare – Verthandi, flexes her light-attribute melee powers. She has three combat styles that let you tweak her playstyle depending on your mood.
She can block and counterattack like a boss, crank up her offensive stats for some epic burst damage or go all-in on rapid-fire skills for that sustained DPS dream. Verthandi has a nice backstory as well. Hyperspace experiments revealed some heavy truths about her past. But instead of breaking her, it’s made her even more determined to protect others.

New combos like Light the Path: Phantasmal Dawn (Hera & Verthandi) and Thunder in the Hills: Roaring Thunder (Thor & Shu) are part of the update. A new Sigil, Cycle of Time, is also dropping.
You can equip a 3-set for ATK boosts, Mod Index Multiplier increases and even Crit DMG buffs if you have a 200% multiplier locked in. Pair that with the new 5-star Functor, Elf – Geironul to enhance Verthandi’s damage efficiency.
