Every Pal you breed or capture in has passive skills, even the flying or water mounts you use to travel across your map. While many creatures have specific abilities only available to them, there are some universal skills that you can plan to imprint onto individual creatures. The importance of mounts already makes them Pals you often use, so you'll want to give them the best traits as well.
Different Pal breeding combos in can influence what skills they have, along with their type. While you can't teach a Pal a new skill, can feed them Skill Fruits to give them a new ability to use when summoned. Skills are divided into Active and Passive skills, with active skills being powerful attacks during combat and passive skills providing buffs to the Pal or your character.
For this list, only Passive skills will be included since many attacking Active skills are interchangeable as a Pal levels up and learns bigger and better offensive moves associated with its type.
